The Annual Waverley Gold Rush Days 2013 will be our 39th year
The Waverley Gold Rush Days committee is delighted to welcome you to the 39th annual Waverley Gold Rush Days. Volunteers are becoming more and more scarce every year. If you have any ideas and would like to become a volunteer please let us know on our Facebook site “Waverley Gold Rush Days”. The survival of gold rush lies with the volunteers who make this possible every year. Waverley is Nova Scotia’s best kept secret!! As we celebrate the 152st anniversary of the discovery of gold, let us not forget the hardships and struggles of those first miners in 1861. Come out and visit the Waverley Museum and reflect on days gone by. We hope that all residents and visitors will enjoy this special celebration of our heritage and community spirit.
